The great pianist and prolific composer Horace Silver, who passed away last June, was one of the mainstays of the Blue Note label and a pioneer of late-50s hard-bop and soul jazz. Pianist Mark Meadows brings his quartet- Ele Rubenstein, drums, Luke Brandon, trumpet, Tedd Baker, saxophone, Cameron Kayne, bass - to celebrate Silver's outstanding contributions to jazz.
